I have an interest in the Instructional Design, Consultant Product Learning & Enablement position. Due to my experience in CPG, eComm, and Data Insights course development along with my regular skill set, I believe that I could be a great fit for the position. The following are some specifics about my work. In addition, I worked extensively with Titleist on product training courses here and abroad in Japan using repurposed marketing materials from their team.
PROFITS Sales Training Suite: There is already a portfolio item for this (click on the link). In short, I worked closely with the SME, Tom Fox, to finish and bring to market a 3-course, 50+ module course including pre/post-assessments, animations, video, interactions, and branched learning. Marketing materials and a Leadership Guide were also included. Once it was sold, I spearheaded the implementation on our LMS including auto-notifications and setting up a webinar schedule, etc. for clients such as Stone Brewery.
1010Data; Data Insights: I do not have a portfolio item for this because this is one example of some speculative work that I did for the company. You can take a look at the full deck here: 1010Data Insights Course
The course was derived from a whitepaper and one meeting with one of their senior analysts. Eventually a 5 module course was built including an exercise using real world data from the dog food industry. I spent a good amount of time on the 1010Data Platformand because fairly well educated as to how they work. It was really quite fascinating.
eCATMAN Prototype: I do not have a portfolio item for this because this is one example of some speculative work that I did for the company. You can take a look at the full deck here: eCATMAN Prototype Script. I am including this here because it shows one of my favored approaches to helping learners change perspective by causing them to own up to their own by answering a question. Then their answer is offered back to them in the next slide with the feedback, which is an “ideal” answer, for them to compare with. It also displays the type of material I was working with.
