This is short post that I might add to. The big takeaways are:
- Firefly works better with vibrant hard-lined images
- You must bring the image into PSD or another program to override the content credentials included in ChatGPT outputs “Images generated with ChatGPT on the web and our API serving the DALL·E 3 model, will now include C2PA metadata. “
I’d need to dig further but, at the end of the day, it seems as though Adobe is saying NOPE – can’t play with that.
The quick fix is simple. Open the image in a program like PSD save as a PSD and then export in the format you wish.
NOTE: I DO NOT use the download feature in ChatGPT because it outputs a .webp. Instead I am using the right click – save as an image feature. This save the step of having to upload to Adobe Express to convert the image.
